Visa J1
The Exchange Visitor (J1) non-immigrant visa category is for approved individuals to participate in work-and-study-based exchange visitor programs. Participants are integral to the success of the program. It is a program that promotes the understanding between nations and their personnel in the United States through education and cultural exchange.
In order to get an appointment and apply to this type of Visa, it is necessary to have a DS 2019 form, which is issued by an authorized sponsor of the government of the United States. Completing the Camp Exchange USA application and having it approved by all involved entities will start this process.
There are very few cases in which the approval of this kind of visa is not obtained.
